In 233 AD, in the seventh year of Taihe, during the reign of Cao Chui in Wei Mingdi, on the 23rd day of the first month, residents in Mobei (now southeast of Jixian County, Henan Province) found a dragon in the well, and local officials reported the matter to the court. In February, Wei Mingdi led ministers to watch Cao Cao. Unexpectedly, Qinglong did not walk in the well. Wei Mingdi was very happy when he saw it. He thinks this is a symbol of Wei Guoxing's victory and an auspicious omen. He changed the year number from the seventh year of Taihe to the first year of Qinglong, and the place name of Mobei was also changed to Longpo, which was awarded to the local local officials. The local residents were also rewarded by the emperor, and each of the men was promoted to the second level of title. Old people who are lonely, childless and single are exempted from the land tax of that year. Wei Mingdi called the court painter to paint according to the dragon's appearance. Unexpectedly, Qinglong dived into the water and disappeared. Ming Di asked the civil servants to write poems on the theme of the appearance of Qinglong to express the auspicious omen brought by the appearance of Qinglong. Liu Shao's "Fu" and Miao's "Qinglong Fu" have been handed down from generation to generation and have been passed down to this day. This period of history was recorded in Wei Ji's "Zi Tong Zhi Jian".
In 284 AD, during the period of Sima Yan, Emperor Wu of Jin Dynasty, Luoyang, the capital city, just after the fourth day of the first lunar month, soldiers guarding the armory made new discoveries, and two green dragons appeared in a well in the middle of the yard. The guard didn't dare to delay, so he hurried to report to his superiors. The news soon reached the palace, and Sima Yan, the Emperor Wu of Jin, heard about it and immediately called ministers to watch it. When they arrived at the armory, they saw two green dragons swimming in the well. Emperor Wu of Jin was very happy and felt that this vision must be a symbol of the country's prosperity. When civil and military officials heard that they were going to congratulate the emperor, Prime Minister Liu said to the emperor, "In the past, dragons haunted the halls of the Xia Dynasty, which eventually led to the disaster of the Zhou Dynasty. According to the Book of Changes, Long Qian stands for the low yang, and the dragon stands for the young grandson among the four elephants. I searched all the old books and records, and the predecessors did not congratulate them on the etiquette of seeing the dragon. " When Emperor Wu of Jin listened to Liu Yi, the matter went away. This period of history is also recorded in Jin Ji of Zi Tong Zhi Jian.
The dragon has been a symbol of imperial power since ancient times. They think that the emperor is the son of heaven and the embodiment of the dragon in the lower world. Qinglong, also known as the head of the "Four Elephants", symbolizes spring all the year round. The above two historical records show that Qinglong also appeared in spring and the first month. Similarly, they all appeared in the well, and the emperor also saw them. This is the record of today's history. Maybe what ordinary people see will not be recorded in history books.
