Specific information of Chinese Revolutionary History Museum
1. The Chinese Revolutionary History Museum, formerly known as the Chinese History Museum, is a national museum. Its main tasks are to collect important historical relics of the country, display the long and splendid historical civilization of China, conduct archaeological research on historical relics of China, and make use of cultural relics for social education.

Formerly known as Beiping National Museum of History, it was established in the preparation office of imperial academy City Root in 19 12, and then moved to Duanmen to Wumen (north of Tiananmen Square) and opened at 1926+00+00.

1959 In July, a new Chinese History Museum was built on the east side of Tiananmen Square and officially opened to the public in July. 196 1.

2. 1969 In September, the Museum of Chinese Revolution and the Museum of Chinese History merged to become the Museum of Chinese Revolutionary History.

1983, the Chinese History Museum and the Chinese Revolutionary Museum resumed their independent organizational systems, and the official name of the Chinese Revolutionary History Museum came to an end temporarily.

On February 28th, 2003, the National Museum of China was formally established on the basis of merging the Museum of Chinese History and the Museum of Chinese Revolution.
