Mencius began to like reading and became orderly and polite. At this time, Meng Mu said with satisfaction: "This is the place suitable for children's lives!"

On one occasion, Mencius was lazy and didn't study. Meng Mu cut a piece of cloth he was knitting in front of him and said, "Stop halfway through school. What's the difference between this cloth and the one that broke in the middle of weaving? What's the use! " After hearing this, Mencius never slackened off.

Wen xi

The story of "a nine-year-old can warm the seats" is about a child named in the Han Dynasty. When he was nine years old, he was already very sensible. Whenever the hot summer comes, build mosquito nets for parents, cool pillows and mats, drive away mosquitoes and let parents sleep well; In the cold winter, he first got into bed, warmed the quilt and let his parents sleep warmly. Huang Xiang's story spread to Beijing, and Beijingers said, "A Chinese Odyssey, Jiangxia Huang Xiang."
