Zhao Zhouqiao, built in Sui Dynasty and designed by famous craftsman Li Chun, is an arc stone arch bridge, the earliest and best preserved giant stone arch bridge in China. Zhao Zhouqiao is the earliest open-shouldered stone arch bridge recorded by world record association in the world. Zhao Zhouqiao, Cangzhou Iron Lion, Dingzhou Kaiyuan Temple Tower and Zhengding longxing temple Bodhisattva are also called "Four Treasures of North China".

Zhao Zhouqiao is 50.82 meters long, with a span of 37.02 meters, a bridge height of 7.23 meters and a width of 9.6 meters at both ends. The design of this bridge completely conforms to scientific principles, and the construction technology is also unique. Zhang said in the Tang dynasty that it was "made strangely, and people don't know why." Up to now, it has a history of 1400 years, which is the second oldest existing (there is also a small commercial bridge) and the most complete preserved ancient single-hole open-shouldered stone arch bridge in today's society. Zhao Zhouqiao is the crystallization of ancient laborers' wisdom, which initiated a brand-new situation of bridge construction in China.
