Chinese barrister, the earliest lawyer in China.
According to scholars' research, the earliest lawyer in China was Deng Xizi during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. This person was accused by the quilt of being "the king of lawlessness, ignorant of propriety, and good at smelting strange things" ("Xunzi, not twelve sons"). Deng once privately recruited disciples to teach legal knowledge and litigation methods. At that time, he was told that "there are countless litigators".
