Postwar search

From 65438 to 0988, an American expedition sponsored by several big companies began to search for the sunken Bismarck. 1985, the expedition leader led a team to successfully search for the famous luxury cruise ship Titanic that sank to the bottom of the sea. 1in June, 988, the expedition conducted a three-week preliminary search for the seabed, but there was no result.

1In May, 989, the expedition hired the British "Hercules Star" to search for Bismarck in the porcupine submarine plain, 800 kilometers west of France and about 400 kilometers south of Ireland, with one of their own underwater photographic detectors.

After the operation 10 days,1June 6, 989, fragments of Bismarck, including a main turret, began to be found. Four days after the debris belt went northwest, on June 10, the wreckage of the battleship Bismarck lying quietly on the seabed was finally found at a depth of 4763+085 meters. Unlike the Titanic, which broke in two, Bismarck's hull is quite complete, almost the same as when it sank.
