For many people, Guge is still a strange term. But if you put the value of this kingdom that has been dead for 350 years. Comparing it with the Maya civilization in Central America and the ancient city of Pompeii in Italy, there is a striking similarity: all of them were suddenly destroyed in the heyday of civilization, and everything was preserved because of mutation. In the following centuries, human beings hardly knew its existence. No human activities have damaged its buildings and streets, modified its writing and religion, tampered with its murals and artistic style, and even preserved the destroyed scene. There is a strange phenomenon in Guge's hometown now: more than a dozen families are guarding the ruins of an empty city, and these families are not descendants of Guge. So how did the Guge people of 100,000 people disappear without a trace that day? What kind of natural disaster or plague happened here, which made the once prosperous and powerful civilization suddenly disappear completely? Why did Guge civilization disappear without a trace? Until now, we still know very little about the kingdom of Guge. A small number of historical classics and incomplete and contradictory records not only failed to uncover the mystery of Guge Kingdom, but increased its mystery. Guge is like a huge maze, which locks many secrets in western Tibet.
/kloc-From the middle of 0/0 century to the beginning of 0/7 century, Guge rule the kingdom took care of western Tibet, promoted Buddhism and resisted foreign invasion, and played an important role in the historical stage after the Tubo Dynasty in Tibet. It is located at the westernmost tip of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, with Xiangquan River (Tibetan is Qin Lang Zangbo) as its ruling center, reaching Japan in the north, Snowu Mountain in present-day Kashmir as its northernmost boundary, India in the south and Ladakh (present-day Indian-occupied Kashmir) in the west, and its easternmost sphere of influence once reached the foothills of Gangdise. Zabang, its capital, is located on the south bank of Xiangquan River, which is18km west of Zhada County. According to the survey, Xiangzi, Xiangba, Dongga and Piyang in the north of Zabu, many townships in the west, Daba, Mana and Qulong in the south all have considerable scale. In addition to these strongholds, which are lucky enough to be marked on the map because they are still villages or administrative locations today, there are a lot of ruins scattered in the wasteland and desert of Guge Kingdom, as well as countless broken walls, collapsed caves and fallen pagodas.
