Why should the civil service examination be held together?
On April 2 1 day, 24 provinces across the country held a "provincial examination" for civil service recruitment on the same day. Compared with the "national examination" of civil servants familiar to the public (the central government and its directly affiliated institutions recruit civil servants), the "provincial examination" of civil servants is mainly for civil servants at the provincial, city, county and township levels.

Since last June 1 1, the recruitment of "provincial examinations" for civil servants in 20 17 has started one after another. The written examinations for civil servants in Beijing and Shanghai were conducted at the end of last year. On March 1 1 and April 8 this year, the "provincial examination" for civil servants in Jiangsu and Guangdong was held.

Today, the 24 provinces that choose to hold the "provincial examination" on the same day include Jilin, Heilongjiang, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Fujian, Yunnan, Hunan, Gansu, Jiangxi, Guangxi, Hainan, Xinjiang, Tianjin, Shandong, Shanxi, Sichuan, Inner Mongolia, Anhui, Hubei, Ningxia, Chongqing, Hebei, Shaanxi and Qinghai.

Judging from the scale of recruitment, according to the statistics of the number of recruits announced by various places, the total number of civil servants recruited in the above 24 provinces is close to 1.2 million.

In terms of provinces, Hunan, Heilongjiang, Shandong, Guangxi and other provinces have a large recruitment scale, with more than 8,000 people. Among them, Heilongjiang recruited 883 1 person this year, an increase of 2,687 over last year, with an increase of 43.7%.

In addition to the above four provinces, Guizhou, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Hebei, Anhui, Hubei, Xinjiang and Jilin are the provinces that recruited more than 5,000 civil servants this time.

More competitive

-the number of applicants in many places has reached a new high. Hot jobs "one in a thousand"

As some provinces have not disclosed the final number of applicants, it is not yet possible to count the total number of applicants for the "provincial examination" of civil servants in the above 24 provinces. However, according to the published data and the registration in previous years, according to the forecast data provided by the public examination counseling institutions Tuhua Education and Zhonggong Education, the number of civil servants enrolled in 24 provinces will exceed 3.7 million.

Judging from the published data, the number of civil servants applying for the "provincial examination" in some provinces reached a new high this year.

For example, this year, the number of civil servants registered in Chongqing reached a new high in recent years. This year, the city plans to recruit civil servants 1437, 93,000 people apply for the exam, and more than 70,000 people pay for reference. On average, 55 people grab a position, and the competition for the hottest position is close to 500: 65,438+0.

Qinghai, Inner Mongolia, Guangxi and other provinces also have a record number of applicants. Qinghai plans to recruit 1075 civil servants this year. However, according to the official statistics, 5 1262 people signed up for the recruitment of civil servants in this province, setting a record high.

Due to the increase in the number of applicants, the enrollment ratio in Qinghai has further increased this year. The ratio of the number of applicants to the positions recruited this year is 49.7: 1 (last year it was 43.7: 1), and the competition ratio for the hottest positions is 877: 1. This year, Guangxi plans to recruit more than 8,000 civil servants, with 246,000 applicants and 205,000 payers, and the number of applicants and payers has reached a new high.

Inner Mongolia plans to recruit 4,678 people this year, with 228,900 applicants. After the registration, 200 positions were cancelled or reduced because some positions did not reach the examination proportion. The actual number of applicants for the examination was 4,478, and the reference number was 6,543.8+0,845,000, an increase of nearly 6,543.8+0,000 over last year, and the admission ratio reached 465.438+0.655.

In some provinces with a large number of applicants, the competition for civil servants to apply for the "hottest" positions is also fierce, and some positions compete more than "one thousandth".

Take Zhejiang as an example. In this recruitment of civil servants, the number of applicants exceeds 300, with the ratio of 100: 1. There are three positions with the most intense competition, with the highest competition ratio reaching 1746: 1. In this recruitment, the average proportion of applicants in Zhejiang Province is about 38∶ 1, which is more intense than that in 20 16 years.

Why are civil service exams held together?

-Avoid frequent cross-provincial examinations.

In recent years, many places have arranged the written examination of the "provincial examination" for civil servants on the same day, which is also called the "joint examination for civil servants" among candidates.

Li Manqing, an expert on public education examination in Zhongxin.com, told reporters that the entrance examination for civil servants in many provinces began in 2009. On April 26th of that year, seven provinces held civil service recruitment examinations on the same day.

Since 2009, it has become a practice in some provinces to hold civil service examinations on the same day in the middle and late April every year. On April 23rd, last year, the written examination of "Provincial Examination" in 25 provinces was held on the same day.

According to experts, the recruitment work of the provinces participating in the "Joint Examination" is organized separately, and the "Joint Examination" is not "the same volume". In the past, some candidates took cross-provincial exams. If they were hired by many places, they could only choose one position, which had an impact on the recruitment of other positions.

Therefore, many provinces choose to take the written test on the same day, which helps to avoid the disadvantages of candidates taking advantage of the test time difference to frequently travel to and from provinces to take the test.
