Suizhou, as one of the three major orchid producing areas in the world, is one of the main distribution areas of orchids in China, with more than 120 varieties and 40,000 people participating in the orchid industry. The local rainfall is abundant, the four seasons are distinct and the forest coverage rate is high. The State Forestry Administration and China Wildlife Association officially issued a document and awarded Suizhou the title of "China Orchid Town".
