Do you know the landlord's cat?
No. The landlord's cat is a female duet from Chinese mainland, composed of guitarist Wu Peiling and lead singer Wang Xinyi.

The origin of the name

The name of the landlord's cat comes from a performance in their sophomore year. At that time, they had not decided their names. The boss asked them to take a name. When they saw a cat jumping out of the roof of the dormitory opposite, they named it the landlord's cat. Everything is so casual and carefree.

Meeting seems to be a magical arrangement. The acquaintance between Xiaohe and Juvenile Pei is very accidental. When she was a freshman, the teenager Pei recognized Xiao He as her friend, took the initiative to go up and say hello, and met him by mistake. This is probably the beginning of The Landlord's Cat.

Both girls' majors have nothing to do with music. Xiao Hei is an animation game design major, and Xiao Pei is an accounting major. At first, music was just a part of their life, and there was no plan to develop professionally.

From the "King of Silence" of the Guitar Club to the current average number of people touring is 400+, this story is somewhat inspirational, but the landlord's cat never expected to really become a "professional musician", but now that it has been decided, they will do it seriously, with the expectation of all the friends who listened to their songs all the way, and strive to "become a professional musician as soon as possible" as their parents hoped.
