Offerings are offerings to immortals, or offerings to the dead, referred to as offerings and tributes for short. It is the ministers of past dynasties who paid tribute to the emperor, which is called tribute, generally called tribute. Some gifts from subordinates to superiors are also called tributes.

Because, when pronounced Gong, it basically means preparing things for people in need, while Gong, pronounced gòng, means giving special handicrafts to the court, that is, giving things to superiors, and ancient courtiers or princes giving things to the emperor.

Sacrificial taboo

Don't sacrifice meat and fish food, all vegetarian food and fruits. Don't worship expired, unclean, old and rotten food. It is not suitable for worshipping wet and biochemical food. It is inferior food and disrespectful to people.

Pomegranate and cherry can't be eaten because the growth channel is unclean, and the seeds of these two fruits can germinate and grow only through the excretory channel, so they are considered unclean. Buddha and Bodhisattva do not provide litchi. Taoist immortals don't offer plums. If there is no tribute, you can skip it, but you can't mess around. According to the variety of issuance, the issuance time should not exceed three days in principle. Xianjiatang is not allowed to serve the following foods: beef, soft-shelled turtle, soft-shelled turtle, snake, eel and dog meat.
