Separation anxiety is one of the most common emotional disorders in preschool children, which is disproportionate to age and impairs behavioral ability when separated from the attached object.

Reason:

1. The impact of sudden environmental changes: the changes in the environment have brought them a lot of anxiety and tension, and they feel strange and lonely.

2. Too much attachment to parents (mainly children): Parents' excessive protection and care for children will also make children develop timid, shy and dependent problems. Once suddenly separated from parents, separation anxiety is inevitable.

3. Parental anxiety inheritance: The study found that parents suffer from anxiety, and the incidence of children's anxiety is significantly higher.

4. Social fear: Whether adults or children, social fear and fear of strangers are the causes of separation anxiety.
