A thousand years have passed. A few years after Dayu succeeded to the throne, his son Xia Qi changed the abdication system into hereditary system, married and established the Xia Dynasty of slavery. From then on, the concept of state came into being in the dynasties, followed by Shang Dynasty, Zhou Dynasty, Spring and Autumn Warring States, Qin and Han Dynasties, Three Kingdoms, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Sui and Tang Dynasties, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties to modern times.
