What is the US-Philippines War? What is the process of war?
The US-Philippines War is a colonial war launched by the United States against the Philippines.

In the course of fighting against Spain, the United States took advantage of the Philippine people's movement against Spanish rule, and reached agreements with rebel leaders on April 24, 1898 and May 19 on the condition of recognizing the independence of the Philippines. From June to July, the Spanish army was defeated by the Philippine Revolutionary Army, so the American landing troops were able to occupy Manila on August 13. However, the American government broke its promise and signed the Paris Peace Treaty with Spain on February 10. The peace treaty stipulates that the Philippine Islands are under the jurisdiction of the United States.

At the same time, 25,000 American troops gathered in the Philippines and launched an attack on the revolutionary army on February 4, 1999. Although the U.S. military has an advantage in quantity and technical equipment, it only pushed to the north of Manila 100 ~ 120 km within six months, which caused heavy losses. With the help of landlords and the upper bourgeoisie, the American military authorities split the anti-imperialist movement in the Philippines and provoked fierce struggles within the movement.

1899 on may 7th, People's Republic of China (PRC)'s head of government, Mabini, was forced to leave his post. On July 5, * * * and Luna, commander-in-chief of the national army, were killed. On June+10, 5438, the American army began to attack again. During the attack, the Philippine army dispersed into several independent detachments and turned to guerrilla warfare. 190 1 year, the national liberation movement was suppressed and the Philippines became a colony of the United States.
