Under the Golden Clothes is a costume love mystery drama jointly produced by Yi Neng Media and Huanrui Century, directed by Yin Tao, written by Hu Na and Yorki, and starring Allen, Seven, Han Dong and Tong Liya. The film was jointly broadcast on Mango TV and iQiyi on February 28th, 20 19.

Under the Golden Clothes is adapted from the novel of the same name by the Blue Lion. It tells the story that when the traitors were in power in the late Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, Lu Yi, a Royal Guards, was ordered to investigate the disappearance of Yangzhou Hexiu Fund and was assisted by six female captors, Xia Yuan. They became sweet friends, but they were accidentally involved in many plots.

Lu Yi's character introduction

Lu, a native of Pinghu, was a famous eunuch and the third son of Lu Bing in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. After Liu Bing's death, Lu Yi attacked officials and appointed the Royal Guards to be in charge of affairs, and the officials of the Royal Guards were in charge.

During the Jiajing period in Lu Yi, the son of Lu Ting, the supreme commander of the Royal Guards, inherited his father's title. He was a royal guard who was loyal to and handled cases for the emperor. He is harsh and cold, and he is overbearing and affectionate. He is introverted, courageous, thoughtful and doesn't play by common sense. But he always has justice, and he also hides affection, righteousness and gentleness. He and Yuan became enemies this summer.
