How time flies! In a blink of an eye, a semester passed. With the help of school leaders and colleagues, I successfully completed this semester's work. Looking back on this semester, I am busy and full, and there are many places worth summarizing and reflecting. Now make a summary of this semester's work to promote improvement.

First, strengthen study and constantly improve ideological and professional quality.

There is no end to learning and no end to teaching. Only by constantly charging can we maintain the youth and vitality of teaching. Therefore, I have been actively studying. Combined with the eighth curriculum reform this semester, the focus of learning is the new curriculum standards and related theories. Over the past semester, I have seriously participated in the new curriculum training and various learning lectures organized by the school. In addition, I also carefully studied the new curriculum standards of fine arts and fine arts education by using books and the Internet, and related articles such as "The Transformation of Education and the Change of Teachers' Roles" and "How Teachers Walk with the New Curriculum". By studying the new curriculum standard, I can establish advanced teaching concepts and make clear the direction of teaching efforts in the future. With the development of society and the update of knowledge, I am also urged to keep learning. Usually, through skill training, going out to attend classes and starting classes, I have the opportunity to make continuous progress in education and teaching. Through these learning activities, I have continuously enriched myself, enriched my knowledge and insight, and prepared for better teaching practice.

Second, be realistic and innovative, and earnestly carry out teaching and research work.

Education and teaching is the primary task of our teachers' work. This semester, I tried to apply the new curriculum ideas I learned to classroom teaching practice, based on "using old and new textbooks and practicing new ideas." Strive to make art teaching in our college more distinctive, form a unique teaching model, better reflect the requirements of quality education and improve the quality of art teaching.

I teach art in the fourth grade, with three classes of calligraphy in senior one and three classes, 19, and four elective courses in art, with a large amount of class hours. In daily teaching, I insist on the "five consciousnesses" in classroom teaching. Make full preparations before class, carefully design teaching plans, teach each class flexibly according to the actual situation of each class, strive to complete the content in class as soon as possible, carefully correct students' homework after class, and adopt different correction methods for different classes to make students more interested in art and improve their art level. In addition, after the teaching, according to the gains and losses, write some feelings and teaching reflections after teaching in time, ranging from a few short sentences to a long paragraph, so as to accumulate experience for future teaching. At the same time, we also actively communicate with the class teacher to understand the students, improve the teaching methods and break through the learning methods. In view of the problem that the old textbooks are outdated, single and divorced from students' reality, I actively developed and designed school-based courses, and designed courses such as "Magic Shoes (Design and Invention Course)", "My Chair (Sketch Course)", "Magic Chair (Design Course) and" Beautiful Curtains (Making Can) ",focusing on cultivating students' comprehensive practical ability and innovative thinking ability.

For the teaching of art elective courses that I am responsible for, I adopt the principle of combining systematization with stages to set the time, place and content, so that students can gain something in each class. In short, whether in classroom teaching or in elective course teaching, I aim at cultivating students' ability and improving their quality, and strive to make art teaching play a greater role in students' growth and development.

Third, work hard and complete other work in the school.

This semester, our school has carried out a series of large-scale cultural performances, such as "English Week", large-scale "English Drama" performance, "Inventions Exhibition for Primary School Teachers and Students" and so on. At the same time, there are many tasks such as promoting posters, displaying windows, and making courseware for various disciplines. It not only involves a lot of art propaganda work, but also requires us to actively participate in the whole process of work creation. I can complete every task assigned by the school with the greatest enthusiasm, and I can basically be "hard-working, high-quality and efficient".

Fourth, strengthen reflection and sum up teaching gains and losses in time.

Reflecting on the work of this school year, I see my achievements and think about my own shortcomings. Disadvantages are as follows:

1, the study of the new curriculum standards of fine arts is not deep enough, and the thinking of the new curriculum practice is not enough, so it is impossible to record some teaching ideas and problems in time for reflection;

2. In teaching and scientific research, this school year, I strengthened my study and carefully studied some theoretical books on teaching and scientific research, but the application in teaching practice was not in place, and the research was not detailed and practical enough to achieve my own goals;

3. There are not enough distinctive and creative things in art teaching. Originally, I wanted to set up a "children's ink painting" interest group in the art elective course, but it failed for various reasons. In the future, I will try my best to explore some characteristics of art teaching and make my own contribution to creating a new world of art teaching in Shiyan College.

Other work needs to be improved, and we should be more conscientious in the future.
