2. Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, loved music. He can sing and dance at the age of six, which shows his musical qualification. When I was a teenager, I played a tune in the government to amuse myself. He is good at playing various musical instruments, such as pipa and flute. And his Jie drum playing skills are particularly superb. He made many major reforms to the music system in the Tang Dynasty, adjusted the original nine songs and ten songs, and set up a geisha, which promoted the development and improvement of music art; He established the Liyuan (the music school at that time, he was the principal himself), expanded the teaching workshop and trained many excellent musicians. Absorbing and accommodating foreign music, advocating pop music and creating an unprecedented style of Tang music.
In the first half of the 8th century, Li Longji was a rare composer in terms of world music. Tang Nanzhuo's "Jiegu Lu" once said, "To write a lyric poem, it must be written by sound, without chapters and sentences, and it should be short and long, and it should be scattered and hit the midpoint." He participated in the creation of many musical works in his life, most of which were instrumental solos, ensembles and large-scale songs and dances. His works directly or indirectly reflect his political career and the historical outlook of the Tang Dynasty from prosperity to decline from different aspects. All his works have disappeared. According to historical records, most of these works were created after 7 10 years, which was the turning point from the prosperous Tang Dynasty to the middle Tang Dynasty.
Before he ascended the throne, he wrote Happy Back to Beijing and Midnight Serenade to commemorate the court coup that he presided over to kill Wei and Wu Peng. After he ascended the throne, he employed people, which formed a prosperous situation of "the rule of Kaiyuan", and created and adapted a number of music works such as Shengshou Music, Bianxiao Zhenle, Guang and Wen, which advocated the divine right of monarchy and praised martial arts and prosperity. Li Longji is good at "Faqu" and likes to use the theme of "Wandering Immortals". He personally participated in the creation and adaptation of Nishang Feather, Lingqubo and Ziyunhui. In art, there have been many words of appreciation throughout the ages. In Li Longji's music creation, the promotion of bone music accounts for a large proportion. Jiegu was originally a percussion instrument of northwest ethnic minorities, and was introduced to the Central Plains in Sui Dynasty. Because Li Longji has a special liking for festivals and regards them as the first of eight tones, he composed music for them, such as Good Spring and High Autumn Wind, which went down in history.
There are many thoughts in Li Longji's later works. Lin Yuling, which is praised by later generations as a trip to reminisce about Ma Jipo, and Zhang Jiuling's mourning for the immortals (also addressed to Miss Yang Guifei), is said to have been made by Xuanzong himself or ordered by musicians in historical materials, all of which are related to Li Longji's hosting.
