Historical evolution of classical architecture
From the end of18th century to the first half of19th century, French architecture and painting were called neoclassicism. During this period, no new architectural style was formed, but the ancient buildings were alternated and renovated. Some people called it "romantic classicism".

Ancient western culture originated from the Mediterranean coast. Ancient Greece is the cradle of western culture and the pioneer of western architecture. The essence of ancient Greek architecture lies in the classical column examination. Doric, Ione and Corinthian column tests laid the foundation of western classical column tests. Greece and Rome belong to the Indo-European language family, which has deeply influenced the development of western architecture for two thousand years.
