This Paralympic Games is the13rd Paralympic Winter Games in history, referred to as the 2022 Beijing Paralympic Games, and is hosted by China, Beijing and Zhangjiakou. After the Winter Paralympics, Beijing will become the first city in Olympic history to host the Summer Paralympics (2008 Paralympics) and the Winter Paralympics (2022 Paralympics).

Among them, Beijing and Zhangjiakou, the two host cities hosting the Winter Paralympics, are responsible for all ice events, while Zhangjiakou is responsible for all snow events.
