Matches used to be called matches, and sparks are the trademark patterns of matchboxes. It used to be the second largest collection in the world (after stamps). Spark content is generally historical figures, places of interest, folk customs and so on.
The world's first spark (made in Britain) was born earlier than the world's first stamp "Black Penny" 1840.
origin
Matches were originally imported to China from foreign countries. In order to carry out economic aggression against China, British imperialism established Jardine Matheson in Guangzhou as early as the 1930s of 19. While dumping opium to China, matches and other commodities have become another means of economic plunder. There are also some brief records about match input in the works of literati in the late Qing Dynasty.
The earliest official record of foreign matches imported into China was found in the Tianjin Customs statement of 1865, and it only appeared in other customs statements three years later. Since 1867, there has been a report on the total amount of matches imported from China. Some reports have to be presented to Li Hongzhang, who cares about and manages the Westernization Movement.
