Treatise on Febrile Diseases by Zhang Zhongjing in Han Dynasty: Elbow Queen by Ge Hong in Jin Dynasty; Prescription of Hutchison Bureau in Song Dynasty; Li Shizhen's Compendium of Materia Medica in Ming Dynasty recorded the powder in detail.

According to the classic records of traditional Chinese medicine, "if the disease is located between the skin and bones, it can be obtained according to it, and the medicine can be used to block its qi, so that the property of the medicine can enter the meridians from the pores, or it can be raised or dispersed, which is particularly effective in teaching medicine."
