1992 May 18, China Civil Aviation Flight Academy applied to CAAC for organizing Great Wall Airlines.

On June 26th, the Civil Aviation Administration of China agreed to set up Great Wall Airlines, which is based in Chongqing Jiangbei Airport and operates domestic air passenger and cargo transportation.

On July 2 1 day, the Civil Aviation Administration of China issued a business license of Great Wall Airlines to the Civil Aviation Flight Academy, with the text code "GW".

On July 9, Comrade Yao Yusheng was appointed Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager of Great Wall Airlines.

On September 23rd, CAAC agreed that Great Wall Airlines would relocate to Ningbo.

In 2002

On May 18, Ningbo Branch officially launched the international freight business.

On July 14, Ningbo Branch made its first flight of A320.

On September 16, Ningbo Branch held a celebration meeting for the 10th anniversary of safe flight.

In 2003
