Shunyi District, belonging to Beijing, is located in the northeast of Beijing, 30 kilometers away from the urban area. It borders Huairou District and Miyun District in the north, Pinggu District in the east, Tongzhou District and sanhe city in Hebei Province in the south, and Changping District and Chaoyang District in the southwest and west across Wenyu River. The development of history
In December of the first year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1368), Shunshun Prefecture was Shunyi County, which belonged to Beiping Prefecture and later to Shuntianfu.
In October of the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), Shuntianfu was changed to Jingzhao Special Zone. In June of the 17th year of the Republic of China (1928), Beijing was renamed Beiping, and Shunyi was directly under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province. In the 37th year of the Republic of China (1948), Shunyi County was liberated on February 8th.
