Zhongtan Village began in Yuan Dynasty, and was called Zhongtan Camp in ancient times because of its geographical location on the north bank of Xiaoqing River outside Andingmen. According to villagers' legend, the former site of Zhongtan Village used to be a beach. The current village site has moved 400-500 meters south from the old village site. Later generations dug up two stone tablets from the ruins of the old village, engraved with the words Zhongtanying. Later generations concluded that Zhongtan Camp evolved from Zhongtan Camp. According to the old man, most of the ancestors of the villagers in Zhongtan Village moved here from other provinces. 1948 65438+February 13 Zhongtan Village was liberated and stationed in the land reform team.
