AK-47 automatic rifle
As the first weapon in the AK family, it existed as early as 1946~ 1947. German STG44 assault rifle had a great influence on the Soviet Union during World War II, so AK assault rifle was born, and AK47 more or less imitated the characteristics of STG44. In front of it, there is a prototype test gun named "AK46" assault rifle, which was designed by Kalashnikov at the age of 25 and was very successful in the test. Later, it was officially finalized in 1947, and the Soviet army was officially installed two years later. Today, although AK47 has already retired, it is still imitated by various regions. Moreover, AK47 has many rebels because of its low cost and high output. At the same time, it also made Kalashnikov, the creator of AK47, feel remorse and watched his designed weapon become a killing tool for the bad guys.
AKM
It is the optimized model of AK47. It was developed during 1953 ~ 1954, and 1959 officially installed the Soviet army. AKM solved the recoil problem of the original AK47, and there were many changes in it. AK-47' s solid steel gearbox was replaced by a stamped metal gearbox and a hammer was added. The surfaces of bolts and bolt holders are also phosphatized, and the later bolt rods, wood guards and handles are also made of resin synthetic materials, which are lighter than before. Caliber ammunition is still 7.62x39mm, 30 rounds of ammunition are supplied by FRP, and the automatic firing rate is 600 rounds per minute. In close combat, the muzzle can also be equipped with bayonets, which is dominant in all aspects. The AK-47 assault rifle is still in production.
AK74
A small-caliber rifle equipped by the former Soviet Union was popular in the west at that time, so the Soviet Union also developed a small-caliber rifle of 5.45 mm as the first AK small-caliber assault rifle at that time, which was formally finalized and installed in the army on 1974. AK74 rifle adopts the same air guiding principle as AK47, and 50% of its parts come from AKM. When firing 5.45x39mm ammunition, the automatic firing rate is higher, the recoil force is smaller, and the most important thing is that the accuracy is greatly improved. Later models, such as model AK74M, are made of plastic and fiberglass, and AK74 is still in service in the Russian army.
AK74U
It's a shortened version of AK74. It was officially put into use on 1979. It is mainly equipped in signalmen, tank drivers, artillery, logistics, commanders, engineers, helicopter pilots, special warfare players and other parts. Normally, it should be classified as a carbine in the west, but it is called a submachine gun in the Soviet Union, but it fires the same 5.45x39mm ammunition as the AK74 assault rifle. AK74U has also changed in many aspects, among which the barrel is heavier, but the muzzle velocity is lower, the range is shorter, and the effective range is only 250 meters. A gas expansion device is installed at the muzzle to expand the incompletely burned gas to reduce the muzzle flame. AK 103
It is also a derivative model of AK74 assault rifle, which was officially unveiled in 2006. However, it is not an active weapon of the Russian army, but a weapon aimed at the export market. AK 103 is not a small caliber rifle, but uses the traditional 7.62x39mm ammunition as a medium-power assault rifle. AK 107
It is an excellent rifle in AK 100 series. It is also a small-caliber assault rifle derived from the same frame of AK74, firing 5.45x39mm ammunition. The gun body is similar to AK 103, and it is made of composite materials such as engineering plastics and glass fiber, and its weight is very light. It is also a black gun body. Moreover, AK 107 rifle no longer uses external guide rail to install accessories, but has its own guide rail at the top of the barrel, which greatly enhances the tactical expansion ability, saves resources and increases the practicability of firearms. AK 107 also adopted many new designs. For example, in order to balance the firing, there is a six-gear balancer to reduce the impact of the bolt. When the bolt is in place, it moves forward under the action of recoil spring, and then pushes the next ammunition into the chamber to complete the firing. AK 12
It is the most "western" rifle in the AK family, and 20 12 was officially unveiled. Both appearance and mechanical structure are brand-new design concepts and weapons with western style. The appearance becomes more square, with Picatinny tactical guide rail, mechanical aiming device and ruler on both sides and below the shell and barrel. The butt stock is retractable and foldable from the middle to the back, and its appearance is not as simple and beautiful as before. Accessories such as tactical sights can be installed on the guide rail more conveniently, and rifle grenades can be installed under the barrel to launch. AK 12 can fire 7.62x39mm, 7.62x54mm, 5.45x39, NATO's 7.62x5 1mm, 5.56x45mm and other ammunition, including submachine guns and light machine guns. AK 15
It is a new assault rifle after AK 12, but it is no longer a small caliber weapon. It can be compatible with AKM's 7.62x39mm ammunition. AK203
It is an export-oriented product in AK200 series. Like AK 15, it belongs to a medium-power rifle and fires 7.62x39mm medium-power ammunition.
