The cabinet system was established in the Ming Dynasty. Zhu Yuanzhang ended the prime minister system in the history of China through the Hu era and concentrated power in the hands of the emperor. The emperor behind him was not so diligent, so he founded the cabinet.

Ironically, the cabinet system originally hoped to strengthen imperial power, but it didn't work. The imperial power in the middle and late Ming Dynasty was often restricted by the relative power of cabinet representatives. This is why the Ming Dynasty was ruled by eunuchs. In fact, the power of eunuchs in the Ming Dynasty was not great. Eunuchs are all promoted by the emperor and restrict each other. To some extent, eunuch power reflects imperial power.
