Historical evaluation of Babu uprising in Iran
Babu Uprising is a great struggle against feudalism and colonialism with strong religious color, and it is an important part of the Asian national liberation struggle storm in the mid-Kloc-0/9th century. The main goal of the uprising was to establish a dynasty by Jia Kai, the agent of foreign capitalism. Therefore, it objectively has the nature of opposing foreign colonial aggression and striving for national independence. Farmers are the main force of the uprising, and the leadership of the uprising is in the hands of businessmen and lower-level imams. They have not proposed, nor can they propose, a solution to the land problem to mobilize farmers widely. This is the main reason for the failure of the uprising.
