Luxiang has the biggest change. In the early years, Luxiang was an intersection, but there was no big turntable. There are a little more vehicles on Luo Yu Road, the main road, and few vehicles on other branches. According to my memory, I sketched several roads. Minyuan Road 1983 was completed, which is different from the current trend. The early Minyuan Road passed through Jiandong Intelligent Garden plot (completed around 1999). There used to be a small pond on the south side of the big turntable, but of course it was later filled in. There is a market next to it. There are some low-rise bungalows and small shops around Luxiang, and there are almost all vegetable fields behind the house. ?
Luxiang to Sekinoyamaguchi, next to South China University of Technology and Chinese Medicine Hospital. There are still contiguous houses from Guanshankou to Guanshan, but the east of Sekinoyamaguchi is completely rural.
Although in terms of transportation, Luxiang is more important than Guanshan, there is almost no decent business in Luxiang in the early days, and everyone is passing by in a hurry. At that time, Guanshan was much more developed than Luxiang. Guanshan Road (now Guanggu Pedestrian Street), which connects Luxiang and Guanshan, was a dilapidated path in the early years, with smelly ponds on the roadside. But the road near Guanshan has become very lively, becoming a "bustling" commercial street and a cinema. When I was a child, in addition to the school compound, I would go to Guanshan Cinema to watch movies. It was not until the early 1990s that this cinema gradually faded out of people's sight.
Minyuan Road was built to cooperate with the reconstruction of South-Central University for Nationalities. There were only two lanes. In addition to the countryside, there is a big lake on the roadside (the former South Lake was very big), which was gradually filled in after the 1990 s and became an apartment for modern students. The width of Minyuan Road is about three times that of the early days.
After Lu Mo passed the Geological College, it was basically farmland. There is a bus all the way to the botanical garden, and you can walk to the back door of Moshan. At that time, the tickets for Moshan were only 25 cents, but even so, we children didn't want to buy tickets, but turned in from the unattended back wall. I especially miss Moshan in the 1980s. This is really a paradise. I still remember that one year I was going to stay away from Wuhan. On the last day, I went to Moshan, sat on the Zhubei Pavilion, and watched the heavy rain coming from the East Lake, filled with emotion.
Luo Yu Road Reconstruction End 1986. I remember this time very clearly, because at the end of 1986, there was a large-scale student movement, and students from China Normal University and Wukao walked out of the school gate in droves and headed for the Dadongmen area. At this time, the road between Jiekou and Guangbutun began to widen, and the tall roadside trees were cut down one after another. The two scenes of "swimming-walking" and "cutting down trees" happened at the gate of China Normal University at the same time, which were deeply engraved in the memory. The widening of Luo Yu Road is carried out in stages. After Guangbutun cut down trees, Zhuodaoquan and Majiazhuang also cut down. The project lasted for several years and roughly formed its present width. A few years later, another blackening transformation was carried out. The road conditions are good now, but there are no tall and lush plane trees on the roadside.
Before 1986, the position of Hongshan District was lower than that of Wuchang District (Hongshan District is equivalent to the suburbs, not counting the urban area). After 1986, Hongshan District was upgraded and several plots originally belonging to Wuchang District were acquired. Inspired by Zhongguancun in Beijing, the emerging Hongshan District started the construction of a street of science and technology around 1988. After 20 years, we only saw a street selling computers (it is said that it can be as famous as Zhongguancun in this respect), not to mention technology and entrepreneurship.
Let's start with public transportation in the 1980s.
At that time, Wuhan public transport capacity was insufficient and extremely crowded. Buses are often crowded at the starting station, and it is difficult to get on at the station behind. Therefore, it was common at that time not to stop, but to stop after the platform. Take the picture I drew above as an example. If the bus doesn't. 15 is crowded in Sekinoyamaguchi. When we get to Luxiang, we often stop, but after driving for one or two hundred meters (where the gas station is now), we stop for a short time. Many young people can fly (the bus gets on the door before it stops), and some smart people simply don't wait at the bus stop and try their luck 200 meters behind. For a primary school student like me, it is a nightmare to squeeze the bus with hundreds of adults.
15 is an articulated car, which should be quite long, but it still can't cope with the peak passenger flow. So Wuhan started a "peak train" with the prefix 1, among which, 1000. 108 Take Luo Yu Road. From Guanshankou to Wuchang Railway Station, I only drive in the morning and evening rush hours, stopping at major stations (Luxiang, Guangbutun and fujiapo, and sometimes crossing the street) and not stopping at small stations (Wujiawan, Majiazhuang and Zhuodaoquan) 108 Road is my favorite way to study at Dadongmen. As long as you can get on the road 108, you will arrive at the Dadongmen in less than 20 minutes, and there will be no congestion once you stop. As long as I stand steady and don't move from beginning to end, most of the passengers around me will go to Dadongmen or the railway station. Not many people got off at fujiapo in the early days, because Zhongnan Road was underdeveloped at that time. 1986 after the opening of zhongnan shopping mall, zhongnan road became popular.
When I go home, I usually tend to take the 108 bus to Wuchang Railway Station, because Dadongmen Station is often crowded. However, the departure station is also crowded with people, and hundreds of people grab a 108. Moreover, 108 is not an articulated car, and its capacity is limited. At that time, as a junior high school student, I practiced my flying skills in actual combat and succeeded again and again. At one time, I successfully grabbed the seat 100 times in a row. Hehe, there was no concept of civilized riding at that time. Civilized people can't even get on the bus, let alone grab a seat.
In addition to 15 and 108 passing through Luo Yu Road, there is also a 25-way to gedian. In my mind, gedian is like another city, and this bus is equivalent to a long-distance bus. 177 bus was newly opened at the end of 1988, equivalent to 15, starting from Luxiang. From then on, I will never be afraid of getting on the bus again, and I will ensure that I have a seat. After another year or two, a large number of "5-prefix" buses were opened, and the most difficult era of Wuhan public transport finally ended. In 1990s, the legend of "52 1" began to spread on Luo Yu Road, while the articulated car of 15 faded out of the historical stage. Actually, I miss 108 more. I have experienced the craziest 108 road. It once took only a little more than 10 minutes to drive from Dadongmen to Luxiang, even better than the later 52 1: there were always several stops at 52 1. If it was in Guangtun,
