Jump to Genting and want to call Fei Xian. "
This song says "red crisp hands, Huangteng wine, spring willows in the city." Lu You, a passionate poet, climbed Genting with longing for the fairy-like scenery of Genting.
We followed the footsteps of our ancestors and came to this legendary place with excitement and excitement!
Can we see Buddha or Lohan walking in front like that uncle? Can we meet a beautiful fox like an old monk? Is seven buddha Square really that magical?
Two days ago, we introduced all kinds of legends about the Ciyun Temple in Genting and the stories that Tang, Liu Bei and An Shigao came here one after another, as well as the story of the reincarnation of the ancient Iranian prince, how he came here to practice, and the story of the inheritance of Buddhist culture between him and our Shu emperor Liu Bei.
Today, we also follow the footsteps of saints to infect the immortal spirit here and feel the strong Buddhist culture and unique Buddhist architectural culture here.
In yesterday's description, we learned the symbolic meaning of peony and chrysanthemum respectively. Understand the uniqueness of the four carved dragon columns in the Hall of the Great Hero, and also mention the beast crouching on the roof beam to protect the Hall.
There are squatting beasts in all Buddhist temples, and they play different roles in different places.
Squatting animals, also known as fairy beasts, beasts, spiny beasts and spiny beasts, are small animals made of tiles or colored glass on the spiny spines of ancient temples and palaces in China.
The number of tile animals is related to the level of the temple. The foremost crouching beast is a fairy riding a chicken, which is usually not included. The number of squatting beasts is odd, up to nine, each with its own name.
Only in the Hall of Supreme Harmony in the Forbidden City, a line was added behind the bull-fighting beast, indicating high specifications, as much as 1 1!
As long as you pay attention, it exists in temples and palaces that have been built for a long time. Now you know why there are such small animals on the eaves and pillars.
Besides Master An Shigao, the founder of Buddhism, there is also a great man in Ciyun Temple: a respected mage-Master Shi Pukong, the current abbot of Ciyun Temple!
Born in 1953, this famous Buddhist monk is the only Buddhist monk in China who is proficient in the teachings of Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and the three religions.
What are the three commandments? It is "greed, anger and delusion" in Buddhism. Greed refers to being too paranoid about sound, color and taste. Buddhism believes that "greed" is the enemy of Buddhist practice and the root of all troubles; Anger refers to being too paranoid about hatred, resentment and hatred; Insanity is a greedy or angry response to basic unreasonable reality. Abstinence from wisdom is a good medicine for greed, anger and delusion.
Master Shi Pukong has traveled to Singapore, Myanmar and other places to preach the Dharma. Master Shi Pukong also became a monk at the Ciyun Temple in Genting. After returning from abroad, I have been practicing in Ciyun Temple. Because the mage knows numerology and geomantic omen, Ciyun Temple often has celebrities from all walks of life coming here. If we stroll in Ciyun Temple, we may even meet a star who came to visit Master Shi Pukong!
The Lohan Hall in Ciyun Temple is also quite big. Generally, large temples will have arhat hall. The so-called Lohan refers to those who have made achievements in spiritual practice but still need to continue their spiritual practice, including ordinary people like us. Lohan's position is second only to bodhisattva. Therefore, as long as we work hard, we can also practice to the position of Siraitia grosvenorii.
The tablet pavilion in Ciyun Temple is also famous. Among them, there are four important inscriptions, namely, Buddhist Discipline Monument, Paramita Heart Sutra, Rebuilding the Tiangong Monument in Ming Dynasty, and Biography of Monks in Ciyun Temple in Qing Dynasty. There are no decorative patterns on all sides of the stone tablet, and the inscription is concise and smooth, with dignified and beautiful fonts and well-preserved inscriptions.
Seven buddha Square was built in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, and it was made of stone. There are four pillars and a three-story gatehouse. The decorations on both sides are: relief, through carving, round carving of Buddha, flowers, birds, beasts, temples and various decorative patterns. It is the best existing stone tablet workshop with high cultural and artistic value in western Sichuan.
There is another most magical place in seven buddha Square, the birdcage. There is a bird cage with a whole stone hollowed out, which can rotate freely. Incredibly, there is no bird's nest and bird droppings in the place where birds haunt, so it is also called "dust-free workshop"
In addition, there are two famous living fossils in the temple-thoreau tree, which are intertwined like reluctant lovers. Therefore, if lovers join hands in worship in front of thoreau tree, it will help you realize your wish and make lovers more loving and never part.
It is particularly worth mentioning here that there are two thousand-year-old ginkgo trees behind the Daxiong Hall of Ciyun Temple, with thick trunks, which are truly towering trees. These two ginkgo trees were planted in the Southern Song Dynasty and have a history of nearly a thousand years. One is a woman, one is a man, one is a man and one is a woman. Yin and Yang coordinate to absorb the essence of the earth, so they are very aura. If the husband and wife come to worship, they will surely bless them to be more loving and grow old together. Moreover, those who come to worship will have better luck after returning home!
A few tens of kilometers away from the Ciyun Temple in Genting, there is a towering ancient ginkgo tree in Shi Tian Cave of Qingcheng Mountain, which is 2500 years old. There is a ginkgo tree planted in Zhang Song during the Three Kingdoms period on Gong Yan Road in Dujiangyan, which is about 1800 years old. This ginkgo tree in Ciyun Temple will rank third in terms of age.
It is suitable for sightseeing all year round.
In spring, the peach blossoms all over the mountains are in full bloom, showing a pink world, which is as intoxicating as the fairy tale kingdom, making people linger, as if they had entered the peach blossom garden written by Tao Yuanming, romantic and fragrant.
In summer, it is very cool under the wind of Tuojiang River, which is suitable for summer. Autumn, those grasses, trees, that kind of mature red, let you feel the joy of life growth! Let you feel that this kind of red is the most brilliant portrayal of life!
In winter, the river breeze blows gently, the mountain breeze slowly, and the earth is quiet for a moment. In this silence, the sound of bells and drums in the morning comes, so that you can smell the breath of Buddhism and purify your soul!
In Chengdu, you can come by bus for two days. In the evening, you can stay in Coma, a European town at the foot of Genting Mountain, taste local food and take a walk along the Tuojiang River.
Go on road trip has two routes, one can start from Chengdu, get off at Longtan Interchange at the next third ring road, and then take Jintang-Qingdao (Baijiang) Expressway. After arriving at Jintang, drive along the Tuojiang River to Huaikou for about 30 minutes to reach the Yundingshan intersection. Cars can drive directly, but big cars can't. If you want to climb the mountain, stop at Genting Shicheng and walk straight up. But it's hard.
Another route, along the southern highway, to Huaikou, through Kyle Town, to Jintang. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the Yundingshan intersection. Just drive up.
If you take a bus, you can take a shuttle bus to Jintang at Chengbei Passenger Transport Center or Jinsha Station, and then transfer to Genting Mountain. But it's more troublesome.
It is convenient to take a direct bus from Chengdu East Station to Huaikou and a bus from Huaikou to Genting Mountain. You can take an electric tricycle at Huaikou Station.
For three days in a row, I have been telling the story of Ciyun Temple. Go to the Buddhist temple to worship Buddha with a sincere heart, and you will gain a lot. It is disrespectful to Buddhist culture and will not be welcomed by people who really practice.
Buddhist culture teaches us to be merciful and not seek fame and fortune.
