In the fourth year of Daoguang 1824, Babao Town was completed, which made Fengyuan and its neighboring areas (now Shenzhen-Hong Kong Township, Daya Township and Tanzi Township) criss-cross, with fertile fields everywhere, and the streets in the city became increasingly prosperous, even gradually surpassing the Anli Society in Pingpu. At the same time, the people of Bazehai lost their original residence because of the policy of "cutting land for water" and moved to Li Ailan and Puli in Nantou. During Guangxu period, when Taiwan Province Governor Liu Mingchuan arrived here, he was called "Fuchun Town" or "Little Suzhou" because of its rich land and beautiful scenery.

These timber mills and textile mills will become the predecessors of various small machinery factories in Fengyuan area in the future.
1920, the Governor's Office of Taiwan Province Province revised the local system and merged Huludun, Tanzaiqian, Aiya (Xiabao), Shenzhen-Hong Kong Township, Shekou District and Neipu District of Miaoli Three Treasures into "Fengyuan County", which was under the jurisdiction of Taizhong State and administered Fengyuan Street, Neipu Village and Miaoli Three Treasures.
1945 changed to fengyuan town, fengyuan district, taichung county; At this time, Taichung County included Changhua County and Nantou County (Changhua City was a provincial city at that time), and the counties were under the jurisdiction of Yuanlin. 195010 June 2 1, the administrative region was adjusted and the regional department was abolished. Taichung County was divided into Changhua County and Nantou County, and Taichung County was moved to Fengyuan Town. 1976 was restructured into fengyuan city, a county-level city.
1977 Established the Gonglaoping Sightseeing Orchard in Fengyuan, which is said to be the first sightseeing orchard in the world, so Fengyuan is famous for citrus and other Taiwan Province fruits.
