I think the hide-and-seek incident reflects a phenomenon in society. The quality of law enforcers is low. If they are of high quality, they will not find excuses to prevaricate our people. This also reflects the short history of democratic development in China. After all, China only experienced a short period of capitalism and jumped directly into socialism. The development of relative democracy is also short. From the Revolution of 1911 to the Three People's Principles of 19 1, our democratic process has gone through 98 years, which is far from the historical time of democratic development in the United States and western countries. Relatively speaking, law enforcers will show disrespect for life. I believe that the hide-and-seek incident in Yunnan is not a case. I am indignant to see such a thing. But it's no use, China society is universal. Only we are still on campus and have not been exposed to the ugliness of society. Even so, we can't lose confidence in life. This society is still waiting for us young people to change. The development of democracy has won the support of generations. This may be the law of historical development. May we never see anything like hide-and-seek again in our future life and live in a more democratic and prosperous country.
