1The Resolution on Several Historical Issues adopted by the Seventh Plenary Session of the Sixth Central Committee in April, 1945 (hereinafter referred to as the Resolution) is the first time that our Party systematically summarizes the historical experience of the Party, and it is also an important historical document of China's * * * production party during the new-democratic revolution.

The resolution summed up the positive and negative experiences of the Party from its founding to the full-scale outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, especially from the Fourth Plenary Session of the Sixth Central Committee to the Zunyi Conference, and formally summarized some major historical issues within the Party, especially the central leadership line from the Fourth Plenary Session of the Sixth Central Committee to the Zunyi Conference.

The drafting of the Resolution on Some Historical Issues of the Party since the Founding of the People's Republic of China began in June 1979 1 1, led by the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and the Secretariat, and presided over by Deng Xiaoping and Hu Yaobang. After a long period of discussion and revision, the wisdom of the whole party has been formed. 198 1 was adopted at the sixth plenary session of the 11th CPC Central Committee in China on June 27th.

The resolution summarizes and evaluates the major historical issues of the Party since the founding of the People's Republic of China, especially the historical position, merits and demerits of Mao Zedong and the basic content and guiding significance of Mao Zedong Thought during the "Cultural Revolution". It affirmed the correct road of building a socialist modernization power that has been gradually established since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee and is suitable for China's national conditions, and further pointed out the direction for China's socialist cause and the party's work to continue to advance.

Extended data:

From 65438 to 0945, the resolutions on some historical issues unanimously adopted by the Seventh Plenary Session of the Sixth Central Committee of the Party once unified the understanding of the whole party, strengthened the unity of the whole party, and promoted the rapid progress and great victory of the people's revolutionary cause. The Sixth Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee believes that the Resolution on Some Historical Issues of the Party since the Founding of the People's Republic of China, which was unanimously adopted at this plenary session, will surely play the same historical role.

The plenary session called on the whole party, the whole army and the people of all ethnic groups in China to closely unite around the CPC Central Committee under the great banner of Marxism–Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought, continue to carry forward the spirit of "ignoring the masses and moving mountains and rivers", overcome all difficulties with one heart and one mind, and work hard to gradually build China into a modern, highly democratic and highly civilized socialist power! Our goal must be achieved! Our goal will be achieved!
