The oldest paper mill site is located under the rock wall at the foot of Dayan, 20 meters opposite the natural stone bridge. The stone wall is about 100 meters wide and 80 meters high. The stone wall leans forward to provide shelter from the wind and rain. This is an excellent natural workshop. There is a clear spring in it, which is the best water source for papermaking. 1985, ancient papermaking sites were listed as provincial key cultural relics protection units.

Miao costume
There are seven sub-nationalities in Gan 'ao branch of Miao nationality in Danzhai county. Since ancient times, there has been a custom of wearing one's own totem as an ornament. The best way to keep the original appearance is the "elegant gray" bird suit. With the extension of time, the differences between the sub-nationalities are getting bigger and bigger, but they all have one thing in common: they all try their best to express their totem-bird patterns with embroidery or batik techniques, and develop the bird patterns incisively and vividly. It is this extreme worship of birds that has created the artistic image and charm of the Miao nationality's "Gan Ao" branch clothing and revealed the ethnic origin information of the "Gan Ao" branch. Batik costumes such as "Hundred Birds Clothing" and "Golden Rooster Clothing" have become the concentrated expression of this branch of bird worship and the classics of bird culture and art.

Hmong
Miao Year (Miao language "nengxnix" and "nengxnixnaol") is the most important festival for Miao people in Qingshui River and Duliujiang River Basin. Since ancient times, the Miao society in this area has used the earliest calendar of mankind-Miao calendar, which is obviously different from the "lunar calendar" in Han areas. The beginning of the Miao calendar is the Miao New Year. Due to the Miao nationality's special clan consciousness and the social management principle of "negotiating lang", the "Miao Year" has the habit of being carried out in order in all Miao villages in a region. This habit also makes these different Miao villages turn into carnival centers in Miao areas in different "Miao Year" days.
The main activities of "Miao Year" include killing Nian pig, making glutinous rice cakes, offering sacrifices to ancestors, eating "Nian Tuan Fan" and dancing Lusheng. In some areas, bullfighting activities are also carried out.
