Advantages of Folk Art —— Beiwu Town was named "Hometown of Chinese Folk Art" by China Ministry of Culture in 2002. The folk art performance of dragon and lion dancing has a history of more than ten years, which has formed the characteristics and highlights of regional mass culture. There are 15 villages in Beiwu Town, and each village has a dragon and lion dance performance team with more than 500 key performers. The region organized local farmers to participate in the activities celebrating the 55th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC) in Tiananmen Square, participated in the performance of Beijing Culture Week in the Sino-French Culture Year in Paris, and celebrated a profound and successful performance in Moscow. Advantages of Northern Printing Industry Base —— On March 8, 2003, the foundation stone of Northern Printing Industry Base was officially laid. Beiwu Town is located in the southeast of Shunyi District, east of Capital International Airport. It is adjacent to Dasungezhuang Town, Lisui Town and Yangzhen Town in the east, west and north respectively, and borders sanhe city in Hebei Province in the south, with a town area of 32 square kilometers. My town is a famous hometown of melons and vegetables. 1998, named as "the first vegetable town in the suburbs of Beijing" by the municipal government. The whole town governs 15 administrative villages, with120,000 people and 3,049 households, with an area of 28,000 mu of cultivated land, of which120,000 mu is the melon and vegetable reserve. The production of melons and vegetables is the leading industry in this town and the main source of farmers' income. According to statistics, 60% of the labor force in the town is engaged in primary production and related industries. In 2004, the per capita labor income of the town reached 6220 yuan. At present, the town has four municipal-level standardized production bases and two well-known melon and vegetable brands in Beijing, namely "Green Chinese Name" and "Small Jewelry". The trademark "green middle name" was recognized as "Beijing" by Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce in April 2002 and April 2005 respectively.

It has formed three leading industries: vegetables, forestry and aquatic products.

There are seven kinds of cultured species, such as grass carp, carp, crucian carp, silver carp, herring, catfish and tilapia, which can provide 6.5438+0.2 million kilograms of fresh fish to the capital market every year.

Strive to expand the function of agricultural life and vigorously develop urban agriculture

In 2004, the party committee and government of Beiwu Town adapted to local conditions, relying on the location and transportation advantages of the town, melons, fruits, vegetables, fish, folk dragon and lion dance art, hot springs and geothermal resources, launched a green and famous melon and vegetable picking festival in Beiwu Town. Services include sightseeing, picking, fishing, leisure, catering, entertainment and watching dragon and lion dances. The picking festival has one scenic spot and nine special scenic spots. Through the careful preparation of the preparatory office of the picking festival and the active participation of farmers, obvious economic and social benefits have been achieved. In the summer of 2005 alone, the picking festival received 26,400 tourists, picked melons and vegetables 158 1000 kg, caught 34,400 kg of fish, and directly picked and caught 2,343,800 yuan.
