Jiefang Daily was founded in May 194 16 during the Yan 'an period in China. It is the organ newspaper of China. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, it became the daily newspaper published by China Shanghai Liberation Daily Newspaper Group, which is the organ newspaper of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, with a daily circulation of 550,000 copies.
