1. Confucius: Both Confucius and Mozi belonged to thinkers in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, and both had their own theories and opinions. Confucius advocated benevolence and emphasized etiquette and morality; Mozi advocated universal love and no attack, emphasizing practicality and frugality. Although they have different views, they are all committed to the construction of social morality and ethics, so they have not conducted in-depth exchanges.
2. Laozi: Laozi is the founder of the Taoist school, and his thoughts are different from those of Zhang Yumo. Laozi advocates inaction and emphasizes nature and Taoism; Mozi pays more attention to social practice and pragmatism. Although they may have the same language in some respects, the communication between them will not be very deep because of their great differences in basic views.
