The Seventh Army of the National Revolutionary Army, one of the main forces of the National Revolutionary Army, is a unit directly under the New Guangxi Department. Participated in the reunification of Guangxi, the Yunnan-Guangxi War, the Northern Expedition War, the Han Ning War, the Chiang-Guangxi War, the Central Plains War, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the Liberation War, and was awarded the title of "Iron Corps". Finally, within three months of 1949,1and 12, under the siege of the Fourth Corps of Chen Geng, the Second Field Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and the 43rd Army of the Fourth Field Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, they were completely wiped out in Bobai, Guangxi.

Successive commanders include Li Zongren, Yang Tenghui, Liao Lei, Zhou, Xu, Zhong You and Li.
