Introduction to Beijing:
Beijing, referred to as "Beijing" for short, is the capital of People's Republic of China (PRC), the national political center, cultural center, national central city, megacity, world-famous ancient capital and modern international city.
It is located in the northern part of North China Great Plain, 39 degrees 56 minutes north latitude and 1 16 degrees 20 minutes east longitude. Tianjin is adjacent to the east, and Hebei Province is the rest.
Beijing has a land area of 164 10.54 square kilometers, surrounded by mountains in the west, north and northeast, and a plain slowly inclining to the Bohai Sea in the southeast.
