(1) Evolution: ① 1840 The outbreak of the Opium War made the main contradiction in China society change from the contradiction between the landlord class and the peasant class to the contradiction between foreign capitalism and the Chinese nation, feudalism and the masses of the people. (2)191/the victory of the revolution of 1911 overthrew the feudal monarchy, established the bourgeois republic, and touched the contradiction between feudalism and the people. ③ After1931"September 18th Incident", the ethnic contradiction between China and Japan became the main contradiction. (4) 1 949 10 year10 month/day, People's Republic of China (PRC) was founded, ending the history of semi-colonial and semi-feudal society in China and entering a new period of transition from new democracy to socialism. ⑤1In the autumn of 956, the Eighth National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held, and it was recognized that the main contradiction in China was the contradiction between the advanced social system and the backward social productive forces. The Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Party continued to solve this major contradiction.

(2) Movement: ① The great powers launched two Opium Wars, the Sino-French War, the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895 and Eight-Nation Alliance's war of aggression against China, and the people of China launched the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, the Reform Movement of 1898, the Boxer Movement and the Revolution of 1911, in order to resist imperialist aggression and slavery of their own feudalism. (2) Make the concept of democratic republic deeply rooted in people's hearts. The second revolution, the movement to protect the country, the two movements to protect the law and the smashing of Yuan Shikai's restoration, zhang xun restoration and the Puppet Manchuria all proved this point. (3) The people of China established the anti-Japanese national united front, and under the banner of the anti-Japanese national united front, they conducted a hard War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in 14 and defeated the Japanese invaders. ④ It has opened a new chapter in the history of China-the people of China have historically chosen the socialist road, which has opened up broad prospects for China's socialist modernization. ⑤ Socialist construction began to make tortuous progress in exploration. After ten years of civil strife during the "Cultural Revolution", the Gang of Four was crushed, especially the convening of the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Party, which created a new situation in socialist modernization. Up to now, building a socialist market economy according to the strategic decision of "three steps in one hundred years" and taking the road of Socialism with Chinese characteristics is our action program for the 2 1 century.

(3) Entering a well-off society, China is leading the people of the whole country to build a well-off society in an all-round way.

(4) In the middle of this century, China's modernization should reach the level of moderately developed countries.

(5) Features: The principal contradiction runs through the national context and has become the mainstream of the historical movement. Ethnic contradictions, class contradictions and social contradictions are constantly changing and transforming in complexity. With the efforts of the people and all just forces, this transformation process has always developed in the historical direction of bright progress.
