Geographical location: it is 300 kilometers from Zhengzhou in the north, 200 kilometers from Wuhan in the south, 340 kilometers from Hefei in the east and 530 kilometers from Xi in the west. It borders Anhui in the east, Hubei in the south, Huaihe River in the left, Jianghan in the right, connecting the east with the west, and is known as the thoroughfare of the three provinces.

Railways: Four national railway arteries have been opened in China: Beijing-Hong Kong high-speed railway, Beijing-Guangzhou railway, Beijing-Kowloon railway and Ningxi railway. It is a prefecture-level city of "three-in-one car" (starting from this city and ending in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou).

All counties under Xinyang are connected by railways, and all counties have railway stations. The railway mileage within the railway is 537 kilometers (20 13 at the end of the year), and several other railways are carrying out preliminary work.

Highway: There are expressways connecting counties, and there are many domestic expressways, among which Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway and Daguang Expressway are three national expressways with a mileage of 550 kilometers (ending at 20 14). There are also 106 national highway, 107 national highway and 3 12 national highway.

Airport: Xinyang Minggang Airport (flight zone grade 4C) was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission on 20 14 and is currently under construction. In addition, Huangchuan Airport (flight zone grade 4C) is included in the 13th Five-Year Plan, and preliminary work is being carried out.

Port: Xinyang Huaibin Ma Yin Port, located on the main channel of Huaihe River, is the largest seaport in Henan Province.
