The Eight Immortals are historical figures separated by 1400 years. Look at history if you don't understand. Don't mislead people.
Origin 1: The legend of the Eight Immortals originated very early, but there are many versions of characters. For example, the Eight Immortals in Huainan refer to the Eight Immortals who helped Liu An, the king of Huainan in the Western Han Dynasty, write Huainan Zi. King Huainan was a good immortal, an elixir, and later generations called him an immortal. The theory of the Eight Immortals in Huainan may be related to this matter. During the Five Dynasties, Taoist painters painted in Shu, including Rong Chenggong, Li Er, Dong Zhongshu, Zhang Daoling, Yan Junping, Li Babai, Fan Changsheng and Mr. The Song of Drinking Eight Immortals written by Du Fu in Tang Dynasty refers to Li Bai and eight literati who are good at poetry and drinking. Today's so-called Eight Immortals were formed in the Yuan Dynasty, but their personalities are different. Origin 2: The so-called "Eight Immortals" are the eight immortals in China folklore, namely Li Tie, Zhong Liquan, Lan Caihe, Zhang, He Xiangu, Han Xiangzi and Cao Guojiu. However, there are actually many opinions about this ranking and the composition of the Eight Immortals. Now briefly introduce it. The earliest Eight Immortals appeared in the Han Dynasty. They are eight writers called "Eight Immortals in Huainan" and were called "Eight Immortals" at that time. "Pearl of Primary School" records: "Eight Duke of Huainan: Zuo Wu, Li Shang, Su Fei, Tian You, Mao Pi, Baylor, Jinchang and Wu Bei." It can be seen that the Eight Immortals are only eight literati in Huainan, not immortals. But later, due to the legend that the king of Huainan became an immortal, the eight immortals attached to his door later became immortals, known as the "Eight Immortals". Ji Shu, written by Shu Xiu in Jin Dynasty, contains "Eight Immortals of Shu", and later said: "First, I am a public official, hiding in Honghong, now Qingcheng Mountain; Li Er, born in Shu; Three Dong Zhongshu is also a hermit of Qingcheng Mountain; Four Zhang Daoling, now Hemingguan; Wuzhuang, Chengdu Booth; Six miles and eight hundred, Longmen Cave in Chengdu; Seven Fan Changsheng, in Qingcheng Mountain; Mr. Bajeju, in Yazhou. " The above-mentioned "Eight Immortals" have nothing to do with the Eight Immortals circulating now.
