Chinese Traditional Patterns and Their Implication
The flower basket pattern, one of the eight dark immortals, is a treasure held by Blue Cai He, and it is endowed with the meaning of "nothing in the blue". There are different fruit flowers in blue, which have auspicious and festive meanings.

Gourd pattern, also known as thin reed, in which melon and pot reed are also one of the eight dark immortals. Gourd vines spread and rotted a lot, and were regarded as mascots by later generations.
