There are 9 towns: Qingyundian Town, Zhangziying Town, Caiyu Town, Lixian Town, Anding Town, Yufa Town, Weishanzhuang Town, Panggezhuang Town and Beizang Village. There are six major rivers in Daxing District, namely Yongding River, Liangshui River, Paradise River, Dalong River, Xiaolong River and Xinfeng River, among which Liangshui River and Xinfeng River are the most polluted. Of the six rivers, the last four are rivers in Daxing District, while Yongding River and Liangshui River are transit rivers.
Daxing District is one of the first key satellite cities in the capital approved by 1984 the State Council. Yizhuang, a new city in Beijing, is the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone. Daxing has a long history, about 2,400 years since it was founded in the pre-Qin Dynasty, and it is one of the earliest established counties in China.
Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties were "the first city in the world", and it belonged to Hebei Province before 1958. On March 7, 958, it was decided by the 72nd meeting of the State Council that Daxing County was transferred from Hebei Province to Beijing.

1949 10 After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC) in June, Daxing County was still under the jurisdiction of Tongxian District.
1958 was included in Beijing, merged with Nanyuan District and renamed Daxing District. 1in March, 958, Daxing County was transferred to Beijing, and Jiugong, Yizhuang, Yinghai and Xihongmen, which belong to Nanyuan District of Beijing, were transferred to Daxing and changed to district organizational system.
