What is a URL address?
Url is a unified resource locator, which is a concise representation of the location and access methods of available resources on the Internet, and also the address of standard resources on the Internet. Every file on the Internet has a unique URL, which contains information indicating the location of the file and how the browser should handle it.

The name or IP address of the server where the file is located, followed by the path of the file and the name of the file itself. The name or IP address of a server is sometimes followed by a colon and a port number. It can also contain the user name and password required to contact the server.

The path section contains the path definition of the hierarchy. Generally speaking, different parts are separated by a slash (/). The query part is generally used to pass the parameters needed to dynamically query the database on the server. ?

Sometimes, a URL ends with a slash "/"without giving a file name. In this case, the URL refers to the default file in the last directory in the path (usually corresponding to the home page), usually called index.html or default.htm.
