Beiqiao Town is the seat of Beiqiao Township.
Yutang is located in the south of Shanghai county, at the intersection of Humin Road, Beisong Road and Beiwu Road. It passes through the south of the town and meets Jinglu Road at Dongjie Street.
According to legend, it is a place where cranes are released, which is called bridge in ancient times.

In 889 (the year of the Tang Dragon), Jianhua Yan 'an Temple was named Mingxin Temple in the Song Dynasty. There is a seven-star bridge in the north beam of the temple.
