1In August, 1985, the Ministry of Public Security successively issued the Notice on Improving and Adjusting the Border Defense System and Several Provisions on Improving and Strengthening the Leadership and Management of Fire Fighting Forces, respectively, drawing the national border defense armed police and fire fighting armed police from the Armed Police Headquarters and placing them under the leadership of public security departments at all levels.

1949- 1985

During this period in 2000, it has been under the control of the headquarters.

However, during this period, the armed police and the public security system were not completely separated.

For a time, it was still the headquarters of the armed police.

For a time, it was the Ministry of Public Security.

Managed by the Ministry of Public Security and incorporated into the armed police sequence.
