The Historical Evolution of Zhonghe Town
Zhonghe Town, a site built in the Han Dynasty, is called Gaopo.

In 622 AD (the fifth year of Tang Wude), Daner County was changed to Danzhou, and the national government was moved from Yilun (now Sandu Town) to Gaopo, renamed Yilun, which is now Zhonghe Town. Song, Yuan and Qing dynasties were responsible for this.

During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (Park 1600), garrison troops were set up. Since then, the language of the urban area has changed from Danzhou dialect to military dialect, and the surrounding villages still speak Danzhou dialect.

In A.D. 18 19 (twenty-four years of Qing Jiaqing), Danzhou was set up in thirty-two miles, and the "state city" was called "Li Zhonghe".

19 12 (the first year of the Republic of China), Danzhou was changed to Dan County, and Li Zhonghe was governed by Dan County.

1920 (in the ninth year of the Republic of China) was completely looted by the villagers in the nearby villages because of the contradiction between the direction of rivers on the edge of the city. "Seven or eight hundred people were killed or injured", and Li Zhi, the county magistrate, fled.

192 1 year (the tenth year of the Republic of China), the county government moved to Dunjiaopo, which is now Xinzhou Town, and Wu Zhuofeng was the county magistrate.

From 622 AD to 192 1 year, this town has been the seat of Danzhou Prefecture and Dan County, which lasted for 1300 years.

1934 belongs to the first district of Dan county until the eve of liberation.

1958 belongs to Xinzhou commune.

1964, Zhonghe Commune was separated from Xinzhou Commune.

1983 commune changed to district.

1987 changed the district to town.
