Historical Records of Hepu Han Tomb
The cultural relics unearthed from Hepu Han Tomb have high research and appreciation value. They are precious materials for studying politics, military affairs, economy, culture, crafts, life and customs at that time, and reflect the prosperity of Hepu area in Han Dynasty. Among them, a large number of foreign goods, such as spices, coloured glaze, agate, amber and crystal, have been unearthed, which proves once again that Hepu Port is the earliest originating port of the ancient Maritime Silk Road in China, and it is also an indispensable material for studying the history of China's overseas trade. Hepu was in Ding Yuan in the Western Han Dynasty for 6 years, that is, 1 1 year BC. It was Hepu County, with Hainan in the south, Kaiping in Guangdong in the east and Dongxing in the west, and became the political, cultural and economic center of southern China at that time. From the excavated cultural relics, it can be seen that Hepu in Beihai is not as lacking in cultural details as some people say. On the contrary, it can even be said that the ancient culture of Hepu in Beihai is the deepest in Guangxi history.
