Anti-epic is one of the basic strategies for avant-garde literature and new historical novels to deconstruct grand narrative, which constitutes another historical narrative in the transformation of contemporary literature in China.

There are three main manifestations of anti-epic: questioning the objective truth, subverting the heroic myth and dispelling the solemn style; Based on the new historical novels, this paper analyzes the changes of novelists' historical concepts and aesthetic concepts in the literary transformation.
