The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee put forward the long-term goal of basically realizing socialist modernization by 2035, including that China's economic strength, scientific and technological strength and comprehensive national strength will greatly jump, its economic aggregate and per capita income of urban and rural residents will reach a new level, and key core technologies will make major breakthroughs and enter the forefront of innovative countries. This is a progress and a higher goal than "building a well-off society in an all-round way".
